译配随笔：
关于民歌《斯卡布罗集市》的发源时间、地点以及背后的故事，各路资料众说纷纭莫衷一是，但表达爱情与思念的主题是毋庸置疑的。歌中唱到的斯卡布罗集市、荷兰芹、鼠尾草、迷迭香、百里香等在汉语世界中与爱情均不构成明确的隐喻与联想；此外，原词首末两段完全重复，以起承转合的谋篇视角观之，唯“合”字有所欠缺。拙译对上述两点作了大胆突破，唯念译词在汉语音乐文学百花园中谋得一席之地而非仅为原词附庸，个中成败得失也只好任人评说了。
